If you're talking about the deep dungeon, you have to find the hidden pathway to the next level. It can be on any square in the entire level, changes place from battle to battle and is not visible. What you have to do is have your characters go to every single square in the level until you find it. You must keep one enemy alive to do this and I suggest that if you have Beowulf as a character, have him put an enemy to sleep. Haste greatly helps finding the secret passage as well as having an excalibur (use the glitch to get as many as you want using T.G Cid's) and having ramza use yell or scream (guts ability, I forget which one increses speed).
