How do you beat Edea on disc 2? Squall is on level 40 and Zell and Rinoa is on level 39.

Question 1: Edea is easy to beat...just take your time. I didn't use anything other than weapons and curative magic, and beat her rather easily.

Question 2: You can draw meltdown from the following enemies...: Bomb level 30-100; Elastoid level 30-100; Gayla level 30-100; Jumbo Cactuar any level; Trauma any level. Aura can be drawn from: Seifer - during the fourth time you fight him. Ultima can be drawn from: Omega Weapon (however...

I wouldn't waste time trying, it is certain death!!!); Ultima Weapon (also death!!!). All three of these, plus a lot more magic can be found on the island closest to hell, and the island closest to heaven.

You can also buy Ultima at Shumi village for 5000 gil per draw, not knowing how many you will draw. Other good magic is...: pain which can be drawn from: Tri-Face level 30-100, Granaldo level 30-100, Elnoyle any level. Confuse, which is excellent as a staus defense!!!

Can be drawn from: Belhelmel level 30-100, Blobra level 30-100, Command Leader any level, Command Soldier any level, Fungar level 30-100, Gesper level 30-100, Granaldo level 30-100, Imp any level, Norg - right pod any level, Ochu level 20-100, Oilboyle any level.

And the last good magic is Meteor, which can be drawn from: Ruby Dragon level 45-100, Omega Weapon (once again...I wouldn't), Catoblepas any level.

Keep exploring the Galbadian Garden, you can only enter it twice during the whole game.

Make sure your using the strongest party members. Use phoenix down, potions, and hi-potions. I beat her using only Shiva, Ifrit, Quezacotl,and Diablos. (Cerberus doesn't help)
