My cheats don't work for crash bash i have tried like everything

Do you have to like beat the whole game to use cheats? Do you have to put in the cheat screen cheat? If so I have tried and when I push start I click X and it closes start! Do you have to hold somthing down or is there no real cheats for crash bash? Or did they like make a newer version of crash bash and thats what the cheats are for?!?!?! Yea so anyways my cheats don't work. Do you have to put them in inside a level? Or can you put them in when you're walkin around in the circle rooms where you can play a level in that room or go to another room. I'm sorry this is so long lmao. But I need to know how to put them in.... Like some of the cheats when you push start you have to push X, but when you do it either closes it if you're on resume or opns up options. I mean it's probably something simple but I really need to know it's like killing me because I only need two more gems and I can unlock keg kaboom then dante's dash but I need an edge lmao because my lil bro is player 2 and he isnt very good at the ballistixs levels and the pogo ones so I just need 2 no how to put them in. Ty for whoever answers

Ok I can't answer any of your question's because there is just to many of them maybe if you sent each question in one after the other and didnt ask the same question twice I have read through and you ask the same question 3 to 4 times

Is your game version a platinum one (you'll no it says it is on the cover of the game) because if it is no cheats will work except for the Spyro demo cheat. If it isn't a Platinum version I can not help u there.

None of my cheats work either because I have a US version of Crash Bash. I've tried everything, no codes work but the Spyro demo. If you want a version you can cheat on, look for version from the UK. The game from there has a cheap look to the characters, but you can find a cheat menu and win every challenge!
