Error finding Chino?

Hello! I also have a problem finding chino. I found all the other kids, I checked that with a walkthrough I found on the net Breath of Fire 4 walkthrough - solution. In the orphanage are only 5 of the kids (plus the girl who didn't play hide'n seek) but I found all 6 of them. I checked with the walkthrough and went around to see if they are there. They're not. But if I talk to any of the sisters they're not telling me to go to the cellar. So the next thing is, the guard doesn't say he's thursty. I talked to him many times but nothing happened. I'm desperate now =) is it possible that there happend some error? Or did I have to find the kids in the right order? Greets

ANSWERS

Actually there are 8 kids (including Chino), which means there must be 7 of them in the orphanage before you can start finding Chino. After there are 7 of them in there, talk to everyone there and one of them will tell you that he probably went down the guarded stairs. This is important, because that triggers the event that allows you to go downstairs (guard goes away and drinks some water). Hope this helps.

Have you talk with the 1st kid who is IN the orphanage that's playing with the toy car?.

if the next hint is about the next kid which you cannot find him/her on top of the bridge. head to the house near the smoking merchant(INN) head upstairs there will be a kid standing there.

After taht you will trigger the event about the guard having a drink for you to sneak pass and head down to the cellar
