When I try to change the 0 to a 1 it says that access is denied. What now?

Go to properties and turn off Read only attributes

if you are running a windows 7 you need ot locate the "commands.ini" file, the pathway should look like this - program files/electronic arts/the sims medieval/ gamedata/shared/nonpackaged/ini - commands.ini is the second one down. save a backup copy in another location before you edit.

open in notepad, look at the very bottom line, change the '0' to '1' (without the quotes obviously) and then save or copy over.

Now the cheats work. if you have anything other than a windows 7, I can't help.

You have to have the "testingcheatsenabled" activated first for the "showallquests" cheat to work. This involves a simple edit of a game file.

The "ShowAllQuests" does not work for me. I know I am spelling it right, too. Why won't it work?
