In my computer click on drive c
Then go to program files and click on activision or where ever the game was installed.
Then click on data and scroll down to the file world and click on it.
Then click on maps and go into campaign.
Then click on imperial campaign.
Then go down to descr_strat and enter it.
Then on the left side of the document look out for the words faction "desired faction" (meaning look out for the faction you wish to play as)
Then directly underneath the name should be the amount of denerii that this particular faction will start of with. Change it to what ever you want (maximum 5000000000, if you go over this when you start playin as that campaign the denarii will be that amount but in negative. Don't ask me why.
Then save the document but make sure you don't delete the old file just in case you change your mind.
Also if you decide theat you don't want to play as that faction you have to go back and change it to what ever it was before and then you can do the steps above for your desired faction.

Before attempting to do this, you MUST have at least 3,000,000 denarii with the money cheat. First, contact the faction you want to destroy. Then, ask them for all their cities. They will almost always agree unless you give them more than 1,500,000 denarii. (which you have a MAJOR surplus of) If they don't agree, wait a couple turns then try again. If they accept, find the nearest city to their capital. Use the create unit cheat to make Milions of troops then march on the city. It's that......complicated. What I mean is it takes a long time to do this but it's woth the wait- big time.

When in your city village, I've found a way to make your defences unstoppable(excluding catapults)

Firstly, find a section where there is two houseswalls at either side of a pathway.
NExt, spread out your troops in a line, with about 20 across and 2 down, depending on how many troops you've got.

Then do the same again, but do this behind the set of phalanx within a spears length apart.
If your wondering why, it's so that if any troops/cavalry break pask the firsst lot of men, the second pit can pick them off.

Try this. If you are facing a superior force, take your heaviest cavalry and circle round the enemy, then engage with your front infantry lines. Now the cavalry comes into action. Charge your cavalry straight into your enemy's rear and hope they route.
