You can have as many characters as you want on an account of World of Warcraft.

You can have 10 characters per server.

Loads, 10 per server but that would take up too much time.

You can have a total of 8 charicters on a realm at one time, you can deleat and make more as often as you like.

You can have as many characters as you want whether it's Horde or Alliance, but only 11 per server.
