The Sims 3 Pets Questions

How do I get a Unicorn to come to my house? I know they are out there because my sim wants to meet one but I just don't know where. Please help me((:

You must master the hidden skill named the wildlife befriend.All you have to do is pet wildlife strays and befriend them.then ask the unicorn to come to your home.

But can I ask you a favor?WHERE DID YOU GET THE UNICORN !!!!!!!!!!

To get a unicorn you must first find it (if you have the wildlife lover trait a rainbow will shoot up from the sky). Then you must get the unicorn to your best friend. Then you have to have at least 3 pets. Then you should get the invite to household option. The unicorn should join and there you have it your very own unicorn.(oh it will have to be night)

Unicorns are really hard to find if you don't have the trait.

I had a unicorn but it got old and died you have to find one and then befriend it then it will come to your house then if you have the cheat testingcheatsenabled true you can push shift then click and you can add it to your household pets

If you want a unicorn go in to create a household, then make a unicorn, save it then add it to you're sims family.

Ok here is how:
If you want it to be easier make your sim have the animal lover trait, if they don't have it, type in testingcheatsenabled true and then press Ctrl Shift. Press modify active sim's traits and then do the animal lover trait. Next at 8:00pm- 5:00am, check in places like chesnut river whatever thing and if there is a rainbow cloud kind of thing, go there. There will be a wild unicorn and you can befriend it and all and make it live in your house!

Around 8 pm do birds eye view. Search near fishing areas. Unicorns last from 8 pm to 5 am. Only 1 unicorn per night. Always the same unicorn every night until befriended because of the time thing. It makes it easier. Unicorns only have a 40% chance of showing up every night

All ya have to do isgo to birds eye view/view map and go over to the two fishing holes between 5pm and 5am the wait for a white shimmery cloud to appear. When it does go to the unicorn open the cheat menu type in testingcheatsenabled true then hold shift and click on the unicorn find the bubble that says 'add to actice household'click it and...

You know you don't have too get skills in the wildlife befriend.you have to be best friends with a dog, cat and horse then make friends with the unicorn then invite to household if you do not do th1is the unicorn will not join your house hold.once you have your uni you can breed them or you can return them to the wild.

Ok so unicorns apear around lakes so I'm apaloosa plains the best places to look are country water treatment (fishing spot) or cinnamon crest falls (where you usually find wild horses) ok the unicorns apear at 8:00pm and go at 4:00am so you have to be quick. You'll know when you see a unicorn because when you go to map veiw you will see a whitish gray/pink cloud overing over either of those places that mean theres a unicorn.
But if you want to adopt the unicorn then you have to befriend it.
Ok this is not as easy as it seems as you befriend the unicorn choose adopt and he refuses and says something about three friends now don't go crazy you can either befriend a dog,cat,and horse which takes some time and you might lose the unicorn.
Or I found a cheat where you open up the cheat thing lol (shift,ctrl,C) and write in it ...
'testingcheatsenabled true' then enter that cheat then hld down shist and ctrl. Keep on holding them down and click on the unicorn then choose 'add to active family' (or someting like that) then tadaa you have a unicorn.
This also works with stray dogs,cats,horses too and you can also take other peoples pets using this tecnique <3

At night, from 8pm to 5am, there is a 40% chance that a rainbow mist thing will appear in town view over a fishing area or a beach. The unicorn is under the mist and first your sim has to befriend the unicorn by watching it and stuff. Then there will be an option to invite to household. The unicorn wont say yes unless you are bff's with 3 other animals though. Hope this helps!

U can do it the hardway or easy way...you can download it from sims 3 store or hardway...you have to befriend 1 dog1 can't +1horse then look 4 a cloud of purple smoke then you have 2 befriend the unicorn then asking it 2 join the household :-)

If it doesen't work do this: control shift c then you type in testingcheatsenabled true, so then the fogg will come at night when there will be a unicorn thumbs up if it worked :P

Or an easier way to get a Unicorn it to:

1.press ctrl+shift+c
2.type in"testingcheatsenabled true" at the bar at the left hand corner

3.Go to the Unicorn that you want and hold down shift and click the Unicorn

4. Then press"Add to active family"

and thats it

All you have to do is: at 8pm visit all ponds, you know those with the little fishing hook sign? Then if there's a sparkly cloud or some sparkly lights that means there's a unicorn there.all you have to do is befriend the unicorn and ask it to move in. TA-the

At 8pm to 5am there might be a rainbow colored cloud thingy at one of the fishing spots BTW this is for Aploosa Plains,moving on...then if you see the cloud zoom in on the fishing spot and pause the game.After that bring up the cheat box ( CTRL+SHIFT+C)and type in testingcheatsenabled true then hold shift and left click on the unicorn and click Add to active family.If you wanna know how to customize it then that's a WHOLE new story...BTW it's a 40% chance of it appearing.

You get a unicorn by going out by 8 pm and 10 pm you will see like a rainbow in the sky shining and if you don't want to do the work to be friends with them press shift ctrl and c at the same time and a blue thing will pop up say testingcheatsenabled and go to friend and put the bar up

U just go to the out side of town to a lake and if there out there will be a line of glitter on the spot and you zoom in and it should be there and a lot of wild hourses and you go up to the unicorn and do stuff to it it likes it a lot if you watch it

I found a unicorn but it belongs to the a family and it's blessed my how can I make it part of my house hold
