How come my sims 2 seasons is soo slow? And is there a cheat to make the game faster?

Is it slow because it takes ages to load and the sims are slow to respond and it seems to stop completely then play again. If that is the case then it isnt a cheat you need it's more ram memory or a better graphics card. The best thing you can do if you can't upgrade the ram memory is to make sure that you don't have other programmes running in the backround because this uses your ram memory too. And when playing don't have too many people in your household.
I hope thats what you meant and not that your a sims whiz and the game is just too slow for you. If that is the case...i don't know sorry.

Because you're computer is not equipped to handle the game. I don't have that problem, but I built a computer specifically to play The Sims 2 on. I have 2 GB Ram, a dual core processor, and 2 GeForce 6800 graphics cards in SLI mode. I hope to do even better soon. I have learned that I should have went one step up on the video card instead of getting two lesser ones. Oh well, I can fix that later. The best way to speed up the game is to get more RAM, but no more than 2GB because that's all most computers can recognize. Without better hardware all you can do is turn the game settings and graphics down until you're happy with the speed or until everything's at it's lowest setting, whichever comes first.

Your computer probably doesn't have enough ram and/or memory space. Suprisingly my laptop has every sims 2 game and like, 15-25 different games on it! I think you can buy stuff that makes your computer have more ram and stuff at places like circuit city. I THINK! You could also try looking on google to see what you can find.
