I hope that friend gives the disks back soon because usually the "bigger" expansion packs like Pets are the ones you have to start from. Plus Pets came out after Open for Business. But you might be able to go to the sims 2 files on your computer and look through them for something about that. Just make sure to copy your files to a blank disk before you try anything though, because if you mess something up, you'll want to be able to get the original files back.

You don't get to choose which expansion pack to start. Once installed ALL the exansions and the original merge together. You don't have separate games, you have one game that was "expanded", hence the name "expansion pack". You MUST put the last expansion that was released into the cd drive. If the last expansion you have is Open for Business then you must put that cd in the drive and click on the Open for Business game icon. Erase all sims icons that are not the last expansion you have because they are now useless. If you get the Freetime expansion later then that is the cd and game icon you MUST use.
