Hey I'm stuck on dragon slayer quest couse I keep dyeing when I fight evgar (that big green dragon lvl 83 I think) even when the lesser demon (lvl 82) was really!!!!! Easy.
Also when I do die on craynor how do I get back quick with out nedding to fix my boat again.
P.s I'm lvl 50 with attk 45 str 45 and defence 35.

Right this is my way of how I beat him when I was level 52:
When your in the dungeon by Elvarg, continue East until you see a strange looking wall. Step through it. You are now in Karajama dungeons/under the volcano. Navigate your way out. Run to the General Store and hopefully there should be some cooked lobsters for sale. Buy an inventory full of them. Run back into the volcano and step back through the door. Normally fight the dragon and heal using lobbies/swordfish when your health is low. That is the most simple way I could say it. Good luck with the end of the quest!
P.S: Just bring enough money for the lobbies/swordies and remember the anti-drag sheild.
You don't need to fix your boat...
Just go to karamja and go down the tunnel and ull see like a door. Just go through it and ull be at lessers. Just keep going straight then till you get to the dragon.
And just mage it. Get behind something and keep mageing it.
Ok, now I just read your question about the dragon slayer quest so here is your answer:
First of all you need to get very good armor , I recomend rune if you don't already have it, then go to a store or to other players and buy sword fish, (heal like 15 or somthin like that) you can also fish then with a lvl 50 fishing. Second in order to get to crandor with out repairing your ship is buy paying a fair at port sarim of 30 coins and then go to the volcano and climb down the rope then go to the door at the end of the cave go through it and then go to evgar, (make sure you have an anti dragon sheild, and a full inventory of food)

What you need is full rune or addy, except shield, get a anti-dragon shield. Get a rune or addy weopon(recomended rune scimmy) And some Tuna or Lobby, or something above.
Just go to Karamja, head past the store to the volcano, climb down. Head past the lesser's and there should be a door leading into a room with more lessers. Go through. Then keep going and you'll find Evgar. Oh, and the reason the Lesser is easier is because it uses claws, The dragon uses fire(the soul purpose of the anti-dragon shield). It kinda like having a dragon battle axe vs fist.
