What Mech is the best on battling Slidz and Orbo in the mission where you collect parts

I tried a lot of things also, but I have managed to kill Slidz with the Battle Hammer V2.0 and it's default weapons. 5000 creds in the Special Mecha shop (the ones on the bottom right of the screen). If you hit mostly 30s you should win.

I would say that the best mecha for the part where you have to gather the ship parts is the Tyrano mecha. It costs 65000 credits at the museum after you get the full fossil. If your a star captain than I suppose the answer that scootermouse gave would work too and would be a lot cheaper.
