What is the formula for achieving a grid expansion in
<BR>Gardens of Time?? I have 1.6 million plus in silver, 1.2 million in reputation, 10.6 million in XP. I have jumped 5 levels and still haven't achieved a grid expansion! What is going on? Is there some sort of formula to achieving grid expansion. There is doesn't seem to be any logic to it. Apparently grid expansion is arbitrary (sun sign? Phase of the moon?), haphazzard and willy-nilly. There is NO POINT in expanding the number and variety of buildings/decorations if there is NO ROOM TO PUT THEM in the garden. Please -- HOW do I expand my garden grid --

If you go under build it is an icon (green) with an red and green arrow. You can buy a grid expansion or a biggger one with five neighbors.

You need both money and neighbors. For each garden expansion, you will need two extra neighbors and a certain amount of money, which increases for each new size.

Go to the icon you use to build all those buildings (hammer & saw), then select the icon that looks like a grid expansion. Pay the money (by selecting either gold or silver option) & it expands on two sides. Wha-lah! It's never required me to have neighbors but I constantly invite neighbors so I probably already have met that requirement. To invite neighbors, select the envelope icon, then select the middle icon (2 people & a + sign). There you can invite Facebook friends or scroll to right and invite folks you probably don't know. With all those millions you have, I'd think you either already have neighbors who have helped you along the way or you're sinking a lot of money into this game to buy energy & gold. Neighbors are free & they give you things you need to continue more quickly.
