If I accidentally took a quest that I don't want to do because it will raise my evil level then how do I get rid of it? I need to go to that place but I can't seem to get around it.

Unfortunatley you'll have to do the quest, theres no other way around it unless it hasnt saved since you accepted the quest, then you can reload to your last save which hopefully is before you took up the quest.
Lies! There usually is an option to abandon a quest unless it has a gold icon ( core quest, must do to complete the game) and a tip on tem is to save right before you go into an area where you have to do part of the quest because once you enter them you can only hero save. No world saving.
