Sorry to brake it to you, but your friend is wrong. A shape-shifting Druid is awsome: the werewolf is faster then a normal Druid and a waer bear is stronger but i do suggest you add more of elemental skills they do work pretty good and you should put some skill points into summon becouse the wolves vines and spirits are really helpful in your battle against diablo and his brothers.

Also, about the necromancer my opinion on curses is that they suck a summoning necro is much much better then any other kind of necro becouse you can summon worriors of the undead and inhance the ability and make them stronger and once you get to the time you can summone any golem i suggest you use the blood golem them may not be as powerful as an iron golem but blood golems add to your health when it attacks a demon well good luck for your journy in sanctuary.

Oh, and by the way, shape shifting druids OWN!!! Both werewolves and werebears can be uber powerful.

Just remember to also get tree spirit/wolf spirit/whatever the other thingy is.

Shapeshifting druids are good at the beginning of the game because you'll be very powerful, but towards nigthmare and hell mode, your melee shapeshifting will not benefit you AT ALL.

You'll die constantly, and you'll be really pissed. Also, the necromancer is kinda hard to use.

You CANNOT just focus on one skill tree. You need to be well rounded, otherwise, if you just tech in one skill tree, you'll be screwed the moment you go to nightmare.

I suggest teching one strong curse fully, techingone skill from the poison and bone spirits (I suggest bone spirit) fully, and one summon fully along with their upgrades such as golem resistances and stuff.

(Isuggest a fire or iron golem). If you're not roundabout for the necromancer, you'll be weak once you get to harder stages in the game.

Um excuse me but did you just say what I think you just said. Shapeshifting druids due massive damage at high levels.

My level 80 druid can kill any monster in hell in one hit thats right every one one hit.

Heres how you do it you make a wearbear and the skills you want to focus on are fire claws and all of it's synergies. At level 30 I had level 4 fire claws and 15 points into it's synergies and he did 1.6 k damage and imagine what kind of power you will have with maxed out synergis and fire claws plus I got fleshrender club witch adds on to skills quite nicely and has good damage.

I put 3 shaels in it and he's as fast as a werewolf so people imagine a druid attacking you with 10k damage per hit with faster then maxed out wearwolfs...thatss right OWNED. So I hope I changed some of your minds about shapshifting druids.
