Press "`" (the apostrophe key) at the left end of the number row at the top of your keyboard to access the cheat screen.

For a huge increase in your manpower, type "manpower" and return

For instant research of all technology, type "research all". Beware, this includes all technologies, even those that are supposed to be mutually exclusive. Instead of "all", the format of cheat allows for either categories or specific technologies, but I haven't sorted out the specific words require.
