This one is not complete. I just uploaded it to prove that I was working on an
updated version.

Welcome to my new and improved Trace guide. I was told by many that it was crap
so I decided to give it a 100% makeover. If you liked the other one better (I
can't see why you would) E-mail me and I'll send you a copy of it. This guide
will cover the basics and more advanced techniques to using Trace effectivly.
If you have any questions comments or concerns please notify me via e-mail so I
can help you as much as I can. Please include the word "Trace" in the topic
title so I don't mistake it for spam. If you wish to contribute to my guide
than please do so. If I use any tips/tricks or anything you send me you will
earn a spot in my Special thanks section. Now by the power invested in me by
the Kriken Empire I bring you my Trace guide.

Section 1- Trace

Background info (bkgnd)- Trace is a member of the Kriken Empire. Using the
advanced technologies availably to him he has a wide range of abilities and
skills. His alt form is the Triskelon and its power is great. Dealing 50 damage
a dash and pushing the opponent back some is a great asset to your line of
weaponry. If you find your-self trapped with little hope for excape or if
you're low on health feel free to morph into your alt form and make a quick
getaway.

BiPed (biped)- This form allows full movement in all directions, quick and easy
selection of weapons, aiming protocol, and a varity of other things. In
laymans terms, this is your normal form. When in BiPed you should always be
cautous of your surroundings because you may never know when an enemy will
strike. A headshot is very painful if you are on the recieving end. It is best
for you to learn the item spawns for each level before attempting to fight on
it. If you don't know where the 100-health is you could be in trouble. When
collecting items you should be in your alt form because it is quick and hard to
hit with some weapons. When you are ready to fight you should find an area that
has a good view of the stage and arm yourself with the Imperialist. When
standing immoble with the Imperialist equipped you will cloak. Cloaking is
what make Trace the best sniper in this game.

Alt form (altfm)- This form allows for quick and easy movement throught the
many levels. It is one of fastest alt forms in the game so running away to
collect ammo/health and to regroup is easy enough. When standing still Trace's
alt form will have a near perfect cloak. If you collect the double damage
powerup than Trace's alt form is quite a nuisence dealing 100 damage a strike.
It is fast, deadly, and has an annoying screach when it attacks. Some things
are never quite the same after a well placed attack. Not only will the opponent
be looking for you but you will have time to cloak again and repeat the
process. Trace's alt form can easily be the one most abused if one does not
know what the hell they are doing. Heres some more advise: Beware of edges.
Yes thats right. If you aren't being careful and you dash you could verywell
end up killing yourself. The Magmaul is a very lethal weapon to alts
considering it bounces on the ground so if you are being shot at by bouncing
fire balls retreat or revert to BiPed form and hopefully smack them so hard
the next thing they will see is "You were headshooted by ___. (Imperialist)"

Section 2- Weapons

Powerbeam (pwrbm)- A rapid firing weapon that can be charged to deal almost 6
times more damage! The normal rapid fire shots can deal 6 or so damage and the
charged shots 36. If you headshot with it than the damage will be doubled. It is
the most basic weapon and everyone starts with it. It also has unlimited ammo so
there's really no need in aiming just shooting. The powerbeam can be quite
useful when looking for the Imperialist or other weapons. There is one thing
that everyone should know with this weapon. Headshots are real easy to get a
few in a row cause, well, they're fast.

Missile (mssle)- Another basic weapon with a twist. Like the Powerbeam you
start with this weapon. Unlike the Powerbeam you have a limited amount. You
start the battle with 10 and you get more by picking up the missile expansions.
If you die your Missiles are reset to 10. The Missiles are chargable for extra
damage but it will cost an extra 3 missiles. This is really only benificial to
Samus because when she charges her missiles they earn a slight homing ability.
The Missiles are great to use as a substitution for the powerbeam but it has a
slow firing-rate which isn't much of a downfall. Plus its got splash damage!
Max Ammo: 59

Shock coil (shkcl)- This weapon fires a continuos beam of neurons. What ever
those are. Anyway this weapon is widely abused by noobs who have been slayn
countless times by it. It is a close-medium range weapon that can home onto
you. There are only 2 ways to dogde this painful weapon. Run around an corner
or morph into alt form and run. The latter is best becuase the beam won't home
onto the alt form as well as it can your BiPed form. It follows a weird damage
pattern. Every second it does 10 damage plus 10 more. The user of this weapon
will try constantly to drain your health. Well maybe I shouldn't use the word
"drain" because Sylux is the only one who gains each and every health that you
lose. Each time you break the chain the damage starts over so you can take
minimal damage if you morph as soon as you are attacked by this evil
contraption.
Max Ammo: 59

Magmaul (fregn)- This weapon fires, well, fire. It bounces along the floor and
it has an arc. 2 things that make it annoying and useful. If you can learn the
arc you can shoot over walls and hit the enemy and the bouncing can easily kill
alt spammers. Beware of its blast radius though because it is very easy to kill
yourself. A useful time to use this weapon is in a narrow hallway. When this
weapon is used by Spire a fully charged shot will cause you to burn. The
burning is annoying because it will deal an aditional 19 damage and as long
as you're on fire you can't cloak very well. There is nothing funner than
watching Spire burn by its own attack/
Max Ammo: 59

Judicator (icegn)- The ice beam of Metroid Prime Hunters. It shoots thin blue
line thingies that bounce off walls a couple times. Unlike the Magmaul these
shots won't fall toward the ground but will stay level. When charged the
Judicator will fire 3 shots at once. If all 3 headshot then it will deal 96
damage(or more is Spire is nailed.) The charge requires 5 ammo but if Noxus is
the one weilding the Judicator than it will change dramaticly. Instead of
firing 3 shots of ice when chrged it will fire a sheet of ice a short distance.
This ice will freeze whom ever it touches so you should be careful because I
pity the fool who get headshotted while frozen.
Max Ammo: 119

Imperialist (snipe)- Ahh. Yes. The Imperialist. Trace's weapon of choice. There
are a few secrets about this weapon and I will tell all that I know. The first
thing is that when equiped to Trace he can cloak in the same manner as his alt
form. The second thing is that when used by any character other than Trace it
will NOT aim where the crosshairs meet but rather one dot down or left
(depending on right or left hand mode.) The third thing is that it fires once
every 1.8 seconds and when shot the enemy can trace you to your current
location. Finally but not last a zoomed shot does twice as much damage as an
unzoomed shot and contrary to popular belief a zoomed head shot is not an
OHKO. It mearly does 200 damage.
Mac Ammo: 29

Battle Hammer (btlhm)- Many believe that this weapon is weak. Then again this
weapon wasn't ment to be as powerful as other weapons. It is ment for the
chase. When you hit someone with an Imperialist shot and they run off. Instead
of waiting for the weapon to reload switch to the Battle Hammer and chase them.
Its firing rate is quick enough to be used in this manner. A few good Battle
Hammer shots after a well-placed Imperialist shot is enough to do anyone in.
It might not seem like much even to those who understand it but in the hands
of Weavel the blast radius is alot bigger. It has the largest blast radius in
the game and the blast does about 18 damage.
Max Ammo: 147

Volt Driver (vltdr)- The fastest firing limited ammo weapon. It will fire as
fast as you can hit the "fire" button. The uncharged shots can easily be
mistaken for the power beam and it is a costly mistake. When charged the gun
will fire balls of energy. The ball is really powerful but slow. Kanden's
natural abilities involing the Volt Driver give him a advantage over this
weapon. The uncharged shots can cause flinching and the carged shots home and
mess up your visor. The charged shots are slow and powerful.
Max Ammo: 119

Omega Canon (omgcn)- This weapon is deadlyand is only found in one level. The
Oubliette. It has the biggest blast radius of any weapon. It is slow and if
used improperly you will kill yourself with its mighty power. When shot the
canon will move slowly until it hits something. If your on the same level as
the blast and NOT hiding behind a wall your dead. Never and I repeat never use
the canon at close range. You'll blow yourself up. The best part of this weapon
in that it deals 200 damage to eveyone that is hit.
Max Ammo: 1 (no joke)

Section 3- Basics

Never snipe from the same spot twice. The enemy will find you and it won't be
much surprise.

Learn the locations of all items, sniping spots, and locations that your
opponent can jump out and attack you.

Your cloak isn't complete so you can still faintly be seen unless you are
completely still (not moving or looking around)

There are some backgrounds where you blend in better making you less see-able
when cloaked. Ex: Lavafall in Alinos gateway compared to light blue snow of Sic
Transit.

Weavel has the only alt that can be head shotted.

If playign Prime Hunter whoever is the Prime Hunter gets to use the abilities
for all the weapons exept for the Shock Coil. Sylux can burn with the Magmaul
ect. If the Prime Hunter is Sylux, though, he will lose his Shock Coil
affinity.

Get close to the vision barriers and you can snipe through them.

The most useful and deadly power-up is the deathalt. There are only 3 levels
with them Processor Core (4 players only), Ice Hive, and Headshot. Combining
Trace's speed with the OHKO ability can allow for easy killing.

There is an Imperialist in every level execpt for Oubleitte.

Combat Hall is the most level chosen most often. Learn every secret and you
should be fine.

Many people will constantly use their alt forms. In this case do not use the
Imperialist but another weapon for the Imperialist is best for killing BiPed
people.

Missiles are good to use if you run out of UA ammo.

If you hit your opponent alot and he doesn't die than it is most likely lag.

There will always be some one better than you so train until you truely are
number 1.

*More coming soon*

Section 4- Advanced Teachniques

Learn to switch weapons quickly. Few people know what to do when one shots them
with the Imperialist then switches to Missiles to finish the onslaught.

It is possible to revert to BiPedep during the dash so dash behind the opponent
and goto BiPed form and blast them with the Imperialist from behind.

*More coming soon*

Section 5- Levels

Small Maps- Small maps are easy enough to play in. There aren't any real places
to hide or snipe so that it takes more skill. Although there are no places to
hide your enemies can't hide either. These levels have some degree of all out
melee depending of the amount of walls the area has. Weapons like the Magmaul
and Volt Driver are good in these stages because it will be hard to avoid the
attack after you know its coming. There really is no real way to compare the
levels in this category because they are so different.

Combat Hall- This is the basic level. Its small, easy to locate any opponent,
few items so memorizing the location is simple and there is alot of health.
No character has an advantage in this level or a disadvantage (well maybe
Spire has an advantage.) It isn't too hard to run for health considering it
is everyware. There are a few places where you can snipe and they are, but
not limited to, the bridge overlooking the level, behind the building with
the UA ammo and affinity weapon orb, the area above it and the hall way on
the side.

Data Shrine- Another basic level. This time it has an outer ring where you
can find health and UA ammo. Also there are 2 morph ball slots where you can
find the Imperialist and Shock coil. It is just a tad bit simple to knock
some heads in the morphball slot with the imperialist. Don't stay in there
for long or you might be found out. Another area that you could snipe from
is the areas in the center room with the affinity weapon orbs or on the
bridge in the center.

Processor Core- This level is more complex than the previous two. It has
a jump pad that is used to reach a higher area that leads to the affinity
weapon and a health. There are also 2 morphball slots that leads to a Double
Damage and the Deathalt (Deathalt only there in 4 player.) There not many
good sniping spots but some are on the side of the suspended platform that
gives you a semi-good view of the area between the two columns and on top of
the column opposite to the one with the jump pad.

Medium Maps- These maps test your skill as a sniper more so than the small
maps. They're usually more spots to hide in these levels than the small ones
and a few more sniping spots although only 1 or 2 good ones. Even though you
may feel protected many enemies have a way of catching you by surprise. These
levels are generally easy to menuver around and have alot of health.

High Ground- This area has a underground tunnel sytem that can be used to make
a quick excape. There is a Double Damage at the bottem of the stage underneath
the statue that will allow for you to get an early lead. If you look up you can
see 2 ledges that are sticking out. One has a Magmaul and the other has an
Imperialist. Both are good sniping places and there is a rectangular block on
the ground. It has a good view of the level and could be used to easily locate
your opponent.

Ice hive- This level has a Deathalt and a Double Damage. The Deathalt is hidden
in a hole in the wall and the Double Damage is at the end of a long couridor.
Grab the Imperialist and stay in that area. It is a semi-good area to snipe
from and if needed run to a circular hole in the wall. Another good place to
snipe from. This stage is littered with places around the circular center. Also
you can snipe from the ice brigde.

Large Maps- These levels put your skill to the test. There are many spots that
give you a good view of the level and also spots that you can hide at. Many
different routes to every location on these levels make it hard to determine
exactly where you enemies will strike from. Also high ledges are common and
thus you have areas to snipe from. Sniping is easy to do in levels like these
but it is all just a test. A test to see if you can kill before you're killed.

Alinos Perch- This level has a few affinity weapons and some high ledges. There
are 2 places where you can get the Imperialist and both are by a health orb.
You can chose to stay behind a vision barrior and snipe that way or chose to
move to the high ledges. One of which is that tallest pillar in the center of
that stage that can be gotten to by the jump pad. Another is by the vision
barrier. Also you can snipe from the ledge by the health orbs.
