Getting others to accept items from you hint for The Sims 2: Castaway

Getting others to accept items from you

If the people you are trying to deliver items to won't accept your offerings, sweeten them up with gifts until the relationship score goes into the green (this is shown top right hand corner after you give a gift). Chef and Suzy McDress both like eggs, so collect plenty, and Mrs weeder likes Zuccinis (cucumber-type thingies).

I agree with the other people that commented. Sometimes it is hard to get all of the things.

what i do is just talk to them until it goes green, then u can save gifts and u dont even have to wait a day before u can talk to them again, u can talk to them as many times as u want in a row, its the easiest solution especially if u cant find the right fruit or whatever. also in the beginning, since i had played the game a year before, i had saved up all the coconuts i had found, i hadnt even tried it was just habit, and then as soon as the watering stick thing (i cant remember what its called) recipe came up i had plenty coconuts and i crafted a few and used multiple of the at the same time to avoid making trips and i also had a big energy fruit when i needed it. Thats my trick. but i just cant remember how to do anything else in the game, :/ so thats why i came here. oh and btw, m1chelle125 and jacamanda, both of your suggestions worked wonders for me, i just perfer mine becausei dont like trading my valuable food that i could use in an emergency on trading or saving. but other than that i honestly can say ur guys' suggestions were the best i found so far

I prefer to trade Dr. Feelgood for one of her Cures (red, blue, green or yellow) and give those as gifts to other Castaways - the relationship score almost always jumps to 100%
