When you need to fix a broken leg, buy bandages and put them on as clothes.
Also, make sure you keep the pet 5 days so it heal can heal and you can take the bandages off.

I don't know if you have to but I always put a cone on the animal to make sure. Normals vets do it so I thought you might have to on the game.

Take it in for five days and get bandages and a neck cone thing and put them on as accessories and then it is fixed

First admit for 5 days. Put the pet on grooming table and put on bandages and a neck cone. Feed pet at least once starting from second day. Leave it until the day of pick up and remove bandages and cone. Make sure they get removed.
