When you need to fix a broken leg, buy bandages and put them on as clothes.
Also, make sure you keep the pet 5 days so it heal can heal and you can take the bandages off.

I don't know if you have to but I always put a cone on the animal to make sure. Normals vets do it so I thought you might have to on the game.

Take it in for five days and get bandages and a neck cone thing and put them on as accessories and then it is fixed
