Pole Fishing
I have crafted the pole but I never get the option to use it, only spear fishing. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or should I just craft a new pole and try again?

for using the fishing pole you should go to the area just before the shipwreak - there you will find a flat stone sticking up from the sea.

from the beach where it says 's.o.s', go to the sea in the next area(deep water), and click on the rock closest to the boat.
