What do the castaways like??

How exactly do I find out what the castaways would like as a gift or as a decoration??? Please help because I can't understand the words the are saying and the pics by their heads and my sim's head go so fast. Thanks :)

HI THE CHEF LIKES ZUCCHINI OR EGGS,THE DOCTOR IS ALWAYS HAPPY, THE GARDENER LIKES BANANAS OR WHITE MUSHROOMS,AND SUZY MCDRESS LIKES CHOCOLATE OR SODA OR SOMETIMES HOT COOKED FOOD IF YOU HAVE NONE OF CHOCOLATE OR SODA. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
