Problem with the canoe

Can anyone tell me why l can't launch the canoe??? After making it 3 times l went for a sleep and came back again only to find that l can now only examine it, what am l doing wrong????

Nohings wrong most people miss this but you don't click the canoe there is an arrow right under it just like here is to get to anyother place so click the arrow and you'll be able to use the canoe
