Shovel???? HELPP???

I have just give chef the chilli peppers and now it wants me to upgrade his fire. I know what I need to get to upgrade it. I just don't know how and where to find them... It is asking for a rock, shovel and sticks... I cannot find anymore rocks and I have no idea where to get the shovel... When I was reading other peoples quest. You guys said to get it from dr. But idk how!! HELP!! FAST!
Im about to just give up!

I'm not sure but I think Mrs Weeder gives you a shovel after you complete some of her tasks. I do know that whoever gives it to you gives you a shovel head and a handle. Then you have to go to the crafting center and build it (you should check your items for these as when you get them it comes up in the left corner and you might not have seen it). Once you've got the shovel you are able to dig anywhere on the island for treasures and stuff including rocks! As for the sticks they appear now and then at the shore in the area left of your shelter and in the area north of your shelter.

no she doesent give you the shovel you need to craft it and idk how im stuck on that part too but i know that when you got the shovel you can get more rocks by digging places

once you give the gardener the potion then she will give you the shovel parts. examine the chefs fire and then craft the shovel
