Need ginger root

I need the ginger root,rice(as a seed) and the wheat to finish making all the dishes of food. I have made everything in the crafting station ,working on all the clothes. But I am just wondering around the Island diving, pole fishing, bug hunting, and spear fishing,and digging, nothing new has happened and I haven't unlocked any more secrets. If anyone is further along than me would appreciate it if you would help with the ginger root.
