Have been trying to beat Jolene for the last time for days. Tried same tactics as last time, waiting for the lunge then attacking her from behind. This does not seem to work this time, is there another way to defeat her?

Just keep practicing your fighting skills and eventually you will be able to defeat her. I hoped this helped.

Select the boomerang and keep it permanently active by holding the DS's left shoulder button. Keep rapidly attacking her from the front to keep her occupied but draw a loop for the boomerang to hit her on the back as often as you can. You can beat her in about a minute this way.

well she does a dash attack she will stay still for a couple of seconds well she stays still go to her back and attack her back it rally works on the 4th time it will be a little hard it worked for me hope you get as much help as i did no lie

My game has come to a full stop for the same reason. In the final fight with Jolene I don't have enough health left to beat her and then I die, and come back to the same place, therefore I am completely stuck.
As far as I can gather you have to use exactly the same tactics as the previous fights but the time you have to hit her back after she strikes is much much shorter, plus you have to do it twice. (i.e. when you lock swords and she drops hers, she actually doesn't die there.
I just can't seem to get fast enough.

my game also messes up i can get 2 hits off of her but then it wont let me kill her in any way (example): i like to throw barrels at her then quikly lunge which somtimes works but all it dos now is break the barrel and i cant get more that 2 hits ever ive been trying for about a week and it still wont work! she must have REALLY trained like she said beacayse you cant even get more than 2 hits off her JOLENE IS EVIL AND SHE DID GET REVENGE! I CANT BEAT HER!!! X_X

I struck her 3 times then after the third time quickly slashed her then rubbed the screen she picked up her sword again then I hit her on the back the 4th time and she left the boat.(her sword was still in the ground LOL)

I can't even hit her once. I have AR invincibility, 4x running speed, but I can't even hit her.
She'll just turn around and block my slash! Even if it's half a second after she screamed...

Last encounter with Joliet stuck on it are ye well the same tactics do rarely work but stun her with the your throwing stick (boomerang) and keep doing that and in a while the she pirate will witness defeat and leave
