You must get the Pure metals, Aquanine, Crimsonine and Azurine. After you talked to Zauz, go back to the Ocean King Temple and Draw the new symbol recieved from him on the Red Door to advance to the next Sea Chart. The next chart has two of the three pure metals on it and you need to get them both before getting the last Sea chart.

You must go to three different islands and retrieve three pure metals. Once you do, go back to Zauz, and he will need some time to make the sword. This is when you go outside, and in the mail, you will get a chllenge from the pirate girl. After you duel her, go back to Zauz and the sword blade will be yours. You must go to Ashus after that, and you will get the handle.
