I've got the sun key but the sacred crest is gone

What can I do? I have the sun key but the green sacred crest which was on my map has disappeared for no apparent reason. How can I get this back? I so don't want to start again. Need the sacred crest to get the north western sea chart. Please help. Been stuck for weeks!!!!

The green crest has disappeared because you have gotten the Treasure. This also happens to all treasure you have gotten from the Treasure maps. If you remember from when you were going to the North Western Sea Chart for your first time, you would've made stop to Molida Island to find the passage through the fog in the North Western Sea Chart. You would've passed a sun door which is where the sun key goes.

Go back to Molida Island and dig the spot which leads to the Secret Hideout 2. Follow the path and than you should get to a door with a sun. That is the sun door and where the key goes to open it.

It disapered because like the other temples
The crest disapered when you got what you were looking for in the area
