In world 3-3 how do you get past the part with the light shinning down on the floor and the bubbles/fluff floating in the air. Cannot use the cyclone vibe. Help!!!!!!!

OK. First I have no idea what those bubble things are but they hold you down. Remember when you saw that ghost in the cage? Well push the button next 2 the cage and run to the light. When you're there wait till the ghost arrives and he'll fall underthe light. He can't hurt you so jump on him and you'll bounce up?
