I don't really know which star you're talking about. If it's the first star, then make it to the top and talk to Whomp. A battle will be afterwards. Stay right under his legs. When he body slams on you, or tries to, jump on his back and ground pound. Do this three times to win. Hope I helped.

It depends on who you are racing with, but just try to have tight turns, and drive in stright lines.

Hey, uh I could help you. But the topic on ALL of whomp's fortress is too broad. If you need a guide to all the levels on that map, check out a walkthrough. If you know the level you need help on, specify it, and I can tell you exactly what to do. Oh, I have SM64DS too. It's a good choice of game.
