How does that blast quest wall into something in whomps fortress work?

This is simple once you know what to do. Get in the cannon closeset to the water. Turn the cannon to the right, there is a slope between two walls. Aim your cannon at the far wall, a little above the open corner. Fire your cannon. If you aimed right, the corner will smash. When you get to the water, a stat will appear where the corner was. Get up to the corner and voila!
