Get to the mid section (in height) on the island and when klepto is right above you jump straight up. The star will go to a small island around the bigger island. My advised charechter is Luigi. Also there is a short cut to get to the mid-section of the island. When you go into the painting (You need to be huge when you are in the painting) On the left side of you when you enter there will be a tree, Climb up it and do a hand stand, face toward the island and jump. There will be a few ledges you will need to climb up to be able to reach Klepto when you jump. Hope this helped!
