How many stars are in the whole game?how many secret stars are in the whole game,and can you get 100 coins in the bowser stages? P.s.how many stars do you need to get on top of the castle?

There are 150 stars in the whole game, 30 of which are secret stars. You cannot get 100-coin stars from the Bowser stages. You need 150 stars to get on top of the castle.

Luiginumberone is wrong about one thing: you can also enable the Moon Jump Cheat if you have an action replay V1 and go on top of the castle without the cannon.

You can also search super mario 64 ds on youtube and check out the non-150 power star ways. One of may favorites is videos by WaveDashNess.
