How do you get monsters on rune factory harvest moon?

Its been awhile since I've played the game but if I'm not mistaken this is what you need to do. You need an item called Friendship Glove. To get it go Carmite Cave and then walk back out. After you have go talk to Tabatha, she should give you the glove. If she doesn't give it to you right off the bat just keep talking to her. You also need to build a Monster Barn for you to keep your monsters in. Hope this helps.
