You need a Wi-Fi connection and will have to have their friend code. You'll also have to know your friend code, which you can get after you have been in wifi at least once. Once you have the your friend's friend code you just add it to your Palpad, which is a key item. Now when your ready to trade talk to the middle lady at the top of the stairs in the Pokemon Center. If I'm not mistaken shes the one who lets you do Wi-Fi trades.

You could ask for their friend code OR with global trade station no gurantees you will get the Pokemon using the second method.
