Question for Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia

I just put the blue gem by the tree and the lady said I need to go on patrol while the Professer is thinking. What do I do and where do I go??

All I did was to go find him and I stared to talk with him so do the same. I hope this works.

thanks, dude but i already figured it out, hadnt played it in so lon i had forgotten what patrolling was, lol
