Secret kept by three

This quest from pricipal lamont is hurting my brain please help! He says "In all the world, there is one secret that is known only to the three of us. Find where that secret is hidden. Here's one hint: the Pledge Stone in Ascension Square." then he gives you a key, what do you do with it?

Once you start the quest, go get a Rampardos, and use the move tackle on the stone. Use the stairs, and go to the table, the rest should be easy.
