Question for Pokemon Platinum

I started a new game while I had a previously saved game. I want to save my new game, but when I try it tells me to go to the "Title page". I don't know how to get their without losing all the information I've already gotten while playing. How do I deleat my old game?

If you hold the Up Button, Select Button, and B Button at the same time on the Game's Menu (Where it shows Giratina and says "Press Start"), it will delete the previous saved game.

To delete your old save file you must go to the title screen and press Up+Select+B to delete the save file. This will involve you losing all of your data on your new play though as well. There is no work around. You should have deleted the old file before starting a new one.

You will have to turn off your current game to do so.
