Yes. Platinum is the only Pokemon game in which you can catch Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina. Every other game requires you to trade.

Yes, you can find Giratina, Palkia, and Dialga in Pokemon Platinum.
Giratina can be found deep inside the Distortion World. You will be able to battle it after you defeat Cyrus in the Distortion World.
If you find the Adamant Orb in Mt. Coronet or trade it over from another game, you can find Dialga on Spear Pillar inside the Blue Gem.
If you find the Lustrous Orb in Mt. Coronet or trade it over from another game, you can find Palkia on Spear Pillar inside the Pink Gem.

You are able to find Giratina in this game. Giratina can be found in the Distortion World or Turnback Cave.
Dialga is also found in Pokemon Platinum, located at Spear Pillar.
Palkia has the same status as Dialga based on this subject.
