Can you trade between platinum and diamond on the gts? I've never used gts before but want to trade by myself on it at a hotspot so I am wondering if it is possible so I can get electevire, golem, rypheior, and magmortar on it.

I believe you can but you can't trade the new Pokemon like giratina, shaymin, and rotom.

You can in fact trade between games using GTS. I have done it myself and it is great ^-^
