Spirits of the Old Chateau
During the Time I'm exploring the Old Chateau, I've noticed ghosts of an old man, and a young girl in two of the rooms. I've also noticed a purple picture frame that has red eyes that watch me unless I go to observe the purple frame. Then the red eyes just vanish, until I move away from the frame.(Note: the Purple frame is in the second floor in the 2nd room from the right) What does this mean?

The ghosts are simply easter eggs used to add to the creepiness of the old chateau. The painting, however, is there because it is technically a Gengar watching you. They're very rare, but in that room a gengar CAN be encountered.

Also the girl is just there to battle. To get the Gengar you have to have FireRed or LeafGreen inserted.

Yeah but only if u have a Pokemon GBA card inserted. Chance of encountering is 5% I think.

U can only battle the girl if u override the freeze frame with cheats

The ghosts are creepy but they are a joke also in the room with the eyes if you insert a firered or leafgreen in the bottem slot of DS you can find a gengar in that room

That means Gengars are in the room and they only appear 2% of the time. Note: You must have a GBA Pokemon game (Firered Leafgreen Ruby Emerald or Sapphire.) Good Luck finding one!
