How do I transfer Pokemon from emerald to platinum? I went to pal park it didnt work. Please help

Went you turn on turn urr game on don't start look for migrate from (Ex:emerald,saphire,leafgreen)and it will pick up the Pokemon in urr pc and you hav 2 migrate 6 Pokemon then go 2 pal park and theyre you will go inside and catch them

After seeing the opening movie, press the A button to access the main menu(which is blue and has many options). If you have any Pokemon gba cartridge inserted, an option that says "Migrate from Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire/Fire Red/Leaf Green" should appear. Select it and follow the steps to succesfully migrate your pokemon. One more advice, you can't migrate Pokemon that know Hidden Moves, like surf, fly, rock smash. You can catch them in the palpark once you've brought them to platinum. Hope this helps you.

It's in the main menu where you can choose to start your game.
And then chose your pokemon.
You can only migrate them for only once per 24 hours.
