SO I beat the elite four and I got the national pokedex. I went to the Pokemon mansion and talked to backlot and he told me there where eevee in his garden but every time I go into the grass, there seem to be no eevee in the grass why is that? Will eevee show in the grass?

The Eevee will appear all you have to do is keep running around in the grass. I mean I did that for several ttimes and I got 2 castforms, 3 dittos, and like 4 eevees it just takes a while so be paitient

It is true, there are Eevee in the garden, just it's rare to find it in there and it is just for the day. You can also get Eevee from Bebe, the Battle Girl in the house next to the Pokemon Centre after you use the PC in Hearthome City, have the National Pokedex and beat the Elite 4.
