2 questions.......
First off, can you visit other areas like you could in gold, crystal,and silver versions. Like can you go to kanto, johto, and hoen regions from sinnoh?
And will platinum be compatible with battle revolution like pearl and diamond is?

No, I'm afraid Platinum is still only Sinnoh, there are a few new areas you can visit, but that's about it.
Adn yes, I believe Platinum is compatible with PBR. But you won't be able to use the new forms of the Pokemon in PBR, because PBR was created before Platinum.

Sadly there isn't but there are known new features such the Wi-Fi Plaza and the return of the Battle Frontier. It's not confirmed that it will be accessable through Pokemon Battle Revolution. Hope this helps you out.

No Pokemon Platinum is a Sinnoh only game and it has not ben confirmed if it will be compatible with Pokemon Battle Revolution as of yet.
