The japanese version of this game came out a while back. It won't be until Spring of '09 until it comes out in the US.

Depends your location. For United States, Spring of 2009, maybe for other people it will release mid to late 2009. It's really hard to say due to it being 2008 still, but the game is already released in Japan and it might just take the same pattern Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl released, giving the release date of April 12, 2009 for Pokemon Platinum.
