Legendary recruits

In the dungeons with the seven treasures (like aqua monica), there are legendary pokemon that guards those treasures. How can I recruit those legendary pokemon? Do I just defeat them or with the use of other items like secret slab?

All you have to do is reach the end of the dungeon and the'll fight you.Shimmer desert(10Floors)Groudon,Mysterious jungle(30Floors)Mew,Mt. Avalanch(20Floors)Articuno,World abyss(30Floors)Giratina,Botemless sea(50Floors)Kyogre,And Sky stairway(50Floors)Rayquaza.

P.S.You do not need secret slab or mystery part.
P.S.S.I got mew on my first tryXD

No, you don't need a Secret Slab or anything, you just need to defeat them, then you get the item. For example, I didn't have anything like that with me when I went up against Mew, I got the item and recruited Mew.

beat them a second time or have your hero hold the golden mask than you have a 50.0out of 100.0 chance of getting a recruit

When you beat them the first time they don't join so you need to defeat them a second time while holding a friend bow or you must deliver the finishing blow.
