Question for Pokemon Heart Gold

Do Pokemon actually grow faster in the wild? Example: If you get a lv1 Scyther and level it up to lv20 (Not giving it any stat boosting items), then catch a lv20 Scyther would the one you trained have better stats?

Yes? This game rewards effort. You putting work into leveling up that Pokemon gives you Effort Value Points. Google it.

Maybe. I think it should because you worked harder to earn all those exp. Points than to just go out there and get one already leveled. Also it would probably help out if it likes you because then possibly it would give it better stats? I'm really not sure, what I'm explaining to you may not be true at all...
