I heard that you can get it by catching all the legandary Pokemon, then going to professor oak. He will give you a special apracorn. Then take it to kurt. He will make it into a gs ball. Hope this helps ;)

Once you've done the Pokemon legue 5 times go to p oak and he'll give you an apricorn then go to kurt and give him it and in a day he'll make a cs ball if you take it to ilex forest you can get celebi.

I heard you could get in by beating the Pokemon leauge 50 times, go to proffesor Oak he'll give you a black apricorn, give it kurt, then take the ball he gives you, go to ilex forest shrine and BAM! BATTLE CELEBI!

You go to the lake of rage on christmas and some guy will give you a special apricorn. Give it to kurt then he will make a gs ball.:D
it really has to be christ mas for it to work!!!!!!!!!!!!

You get a lv 70 Lugia and lv 70 ho-oh in your party you go to kurt and give him any apricorn then he makes a gs ball

Fools your all wrong you can only obtain it if 1: you have action replay or2: you got the event on time but that has been over for a long time

For HeartGold there is no way apart from the event - but that ended ages ago.
If you have Diamond/Pearl and My Pokemon Ranch (WiiWare) if you get 999 Pokemon on the ranch you can trade any Pokemon egg for Hayleys Mew.
Then you can trade your Mew with someone for a celebi. (you can reset the data on My Pokemon Ranch to get another Mew so it IS worth it )

You cannot get the GS ball in any game other than Pokemon crystal....in japan...along time ago through mobile phone link up....sorry but if anybody tells you otherwise they are lying, there isnt even an AR code for it as it isnt in the game code.

There is no way to obtain it. The event that happened years ago has nothing to do with this.

Get a black apricorn and a silver apricorn (from mt. Silver), give them to Kurt, get the GS ball

All very strange answers, and all wrong except one. An A.R. or a trade over the GTS is your only way to obtain the Celebi at this point.

Look. The GS ball needed for triggering the battle with Celebi in Illex Forest can only be obtained with Crystal and the remakes in Japan. Doesn't really work here, as it sorta ended up like the Azure Flute. It's there, and the process for getting it is there, but unlike the Flute, you just can't really get it. It's hard to explain really. So in short, the US got the short end of the stick with Celebi. I'm hoping there is a AR Code for getting it.
