Question for Pokemon Black

I spoke with N at Spiral Tower and now I'm in Relic Castle but I can't get past the woman with who gave me a fossil. What do I do?

This One is a little tricky to notice .. But you get a clue on how to pass the sandpits from the first person you run into. What you have to do is walk a single step into the sandpit and you'll see him sink to the brim of the pit, allowing you to walk on the brim only.
