Question for Nintendogs: Dachshund and Friends

If I use an action replay to give me max trainer points, do I still unlock everything that I would have unlocked if I did it the hard way?

I did a cheat with the same consept on my chihuahua and friends and I went for a walk and it gave me 4 new breeds and a new interior design but this isn't the same game so I don't know

It should work, since you are actually gaining trainer points, the way you get them does not matter much. Hope this helps!
